Meyer Lemon Gin Sour
Serves 1
.5 ounce Fernet Branca
1.5 ounces gin
.5 ounce meyer lemon juice
.5 ounce honey simple syrup
egg white
very small pinch of salt

To make the honey simple syrup, whisk together equal parts honey and water in a small saucepan. Turn the heat to medium-high, whisking until the honey dissolves into the water. Remove from heat and let cool.

Rinse chilled serving glass with .5 ounce of Fernet Branca by swirling it around the inside of the glass and discarding any extra. Combine the gin, meyer lemon juice, honey simple syrup, egg white and salt in a cocktail shaker. Shake without ice for 10-15 seconds, then add in a scoop of ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
